A mid-rise, transit-oriented residential project in a historic, inner-ring suburb of St. Louis.
Located in Maplewood, the Sunnen Station Apartment project capitalizes on current revitalization taking place in this historic, inner-ring suburb of St. Louis, Missouri.
The four-level, wood-framed, multi-family building is positioned on the five-and-a-half-acre site with the main entrance oriented across an active plaza from a Metro station providing direct access to the successful light rail system that serves the St. Louis region. The building’s dynamic form creates an urban edge by responding to the adjacent streets and station. The building program includes 174 market-rate units organized around a central courtyard that integrates amenities including a pool, pool house, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and a sustainable landscape. Inside, the highly-efficient building is comprised of one and two bedroom units with large exterior balconies. The building amenities include a club room, lounge, gym, and on-floor storage. The building materials are brick masonry, cement board siding, and glass.
